LOCAL RESOURCES:  Don't forget to explore scholarship opportunities offered by your community foundations, local businesses, and civic organizations.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS AND SPECIALTY GROUPS:  Many professional associations and organizations offer scholarships to students pursuing specific fields of study.  Explore the websites of organizations related to your academic interests by Googling terms like "future educator scholarships" or "tuition assistance for music students."

SCHOOL-SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIPS:   Navigate to the financial aid section of the college website you are interested in. Most colleges have a dedicated page listing all available scholarships, including those specific to the institution.  Carefully read the requirements for each scholarship to see if you qualify. If you have questions about specific scholarships, reach out to the financial aid office directly.
