Throughout this semester, 9th graders will learn about many different cultures in Global History. Within this project, you will research and explore your own family's history. This guide will support you in your research for this project.

Background

  • Out of the places you've labeled on your map from part 1, you will pick one (1) of these places to investigate.
  • You should write a minimum of 10-15 sentences about this place. Some things you may include are its:
location population
capital city type of government
languages spoken names of important leaders
well-known types of food/music  interesting facts
holidays the people celebrate important events in its history
